Advent Taize Retreat: Saturday 3 December 10.00 am – 3.00 pm

This retreat day will be led by the Taizé in Melbourne group in St Joseph’s Church, 274 Rouse St, Port Melbourne.  The Melbourne Taize group are an ecumenical team of volunteers who organise Taizé prayer at different Churches around the city. Taizé prayer provides a space to be yourself, to pray, to be silent and to listen to God. 2016 Carmelite Way Pilgrimage: Friday 11 to Sunday 13 November

LED by Fr Ken Peterson O.Carm and Brother Matthew Tonini,  Carmelites of Australia and East Timor a group of 19 participated in the Seventh Annual 45 km pilgrimage in the beautiful Yarra Valley. The pilgrimage took place over three days and is organized by The Carmelite Centre Melbourne. The walk is along the rail trail from Lilydale to the Sancta Sophia Meditation Community in Warburton.
